Ahhhh, spring!

My fingernails are stained from digging in the water-logged clay. But, we put down Four O'Clocks, Morning Glories, Black Eyed Susans and Sunflowers. Sensing a theme? Yep, all are sun lovin, drought takin', poor soil takin' kind of annuals.

We are building beds of nutrient-rich soil for tomatoes, cukes and peppers. We should have them done in time for the second growing season.
