I can't tell you the number of times I have done exactly the same thing. I always walk away, just like you---except the last time I did it. That time I just pulled it all out back to the mistake and did it right. Sure it takes some extra time, but not nearly the amount of time it always took me before when I sulked, grumbled and kicked myself in the butt.

I have come to believe these mistakes are messages from the Weaving Goddess.

Yup. I have seen many disappointed weaving students when I told them that they would have to rethread. It is always best in the long run because you know that they are right.
