My in-house tinkerer has completed his weekend project, the garden hose timer.

You hook your water source up to the washing machine valve at the top and then you hook your soaker hose to where the copper pipe comes out -- look at the soldering! He does such fine work.
And because I'm still tinkering with embedding video you of course get a short video of the inaugural timed soaking:
The downside of adding video seems the time it takes to load the page is obviously a lot longer than it used to be. I think after the newness of this wears off I will do it less often.
Darn, I was going to go into the city today and see RobKnits at StitchDC, but it's now 4pm and I was even in Arlington to feed some friends' kitties. Where did my day go?

I got all my oils from Sprouts - a health/organic foods stuff store. It is with the health & beauty stuff. Of course, there is always the internet.
Just a note, your video does not come up at all for me.
