Goodness. The Midwest is being nailed with snow, a couple blog friends have snow, and we've got a couple of snowflakes. A rather weak flurry at that. I really want five feet of the white stuff. The people in this area wig out with one inch, I can only imagine what they would do with snow measured in terms of feet.
Oh well, just as long as USPS and UPS can still roll up to the door with my yarn deliveries then I'm cool. The rug yarn for my mom's gift came last week from Old Mill Yarn, but I went and changed my design and I'm waiting on a couple more colors to arrive. I added the rust and orange colors to the blue, black and silver. The silver is now out -- well, I might use it at the hems.
You obviously weren't there for the President's Day storm a few years ago (youngster!).
It was the biggest snowfall that I've ever been in--it was a good 2 feet of snow (in both Maryland and Virginia).
It was highly entertaining to watch everything shut down (even the malls) and people panic (as usual).
You can only hope that you get such entertainment while you live there!

Looks good to me. I can't wait to see the final project. I'll bet you feel the same!
