But I have pics.
In the plane over Denver:
Multnomah Falls, I hiked to the top thank you very much.
Here's the proof:

Looking into Oregon:
Driving back to Portland on the Washington State side of the Gorge, looking up the Columbia River:
The not-so-godly Bridge of the Gods:
And of course, there was beer and more beer. Here is a sampler from Deschutes Brewery back in Portland, it was better appreciated because earlier in the day I drove by Deschutes National Park -- and, it was good beer -- well, two stood out of the six for sure.
Now back to the grind. I did buy yarn, but it was at Fred Meyer while waiting on a friend. Sigh, so embarrassing. I'm going back for sure.
And big girl just found out this morning that I lost 5 pounds on my little adventure. I told a friend that if I moved to Portland I would surely get a late in life growth spurt and become tall and thin. If I can lose 5 pounds in a week, I can only imagine what would happen in a month and then in a year!
